Collection: Japanese fan

Kyōsensu (Kyoto fan) is the name given to fans made mainly in Kyoto. It is said that the production process involves up to 87 separate stages, with many different artisans, each responsible for a different part of the process.

The Kyoto fan, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, is appealing for its aesthetics, ergonomics and ability to generate a refreshing breeze thanks to its multiple branches.

These are handmade by the long-established Kyoto company Onishi Tsune Shoten.
Founded in 1913, Onishi Tsuné Shoten continues to make fans using traditional craft techniques.
This fan, made by skilled artisans, fits comfortably in the hand every time it is used and can be used for a long time. In addition, incense is impregnated into the fans during the manufacturing process, allowing you to enjoy a subtle fragrance every time you use it.

This time, we have prepared three types: Katsushika Hokusai's Mount Fuji in Red, Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa and Haru (Spring), a magnificent gradation of pink and blue spring flowers that makes you feel the arrival of spring.
