Our Obi-Kimono cushions are not mere decorative objects, but true works of art.
Each cushion is handmade in our Parisian workshop, where we carefully select and cut patterns from authentic Japanese obi belts, which can measure up to 4 meters in length.
MAISON MIYABI reinterprets these traditional Japanese works of art so that they blend perfectly with Western interiors.
History of the pattern:
It features an all-silk obi with a plum blossom pattern.
Plum trees are among the first to bloom and bear fruit during periods of intense cold. The plum blossom pattern is a symbol of perseverance, vitality, and prosperity for future generations, and is a representative motif of the New Year.
