Our Obi-Kimono cushions are not mere decorative objects, but true works of art.
Each cushion is handmade in our Parisian workshop, where we carefully select and cut patterns from authentic Japanese obi belts, which can measure up to 4 meters in length.
MAISON MIYABI reinterprets these traditional Japanese works of art so that they blend perfectly with Western interiors.
History of the pattern:
The word “Sarasa” comes from an ancient Javanese word “Srasah,” which means “to scatter floral patterns.” The Sarasa pattern is defined as a colorful pattern that evokes exoticism.
The bold pattern is enhanced by beautiful raspberry-colored piping and a yellow taffeta lining.
