Obi-Kimono cushion : Gokuraku (Paradise) / Lotus with red piping

Our Obi-Kimono cushions are not mere decorative objects, but true works of art. Each cushion is handmade in our Parisian workshop, where we carefully select and cut patterns from authentic Japanese obi belts, which can measure up to 4 meters in length.

MAISON MIYABI reinterprets these traditional Japanese works of art so that they blend perfectly with Western interiors.

History of the pattern:
The lotus is a flower that blooms in paradise in the Buddhist world. Its meaning is “pure heart” and “sacred”. When I bought this obi, I was captivated by the brightly colored flowers blooming on the shiny white background. Just placing it in a room makes it brighten up.
