The Fuurin is the Japanese wind chime.
Two Fuurin at MAISON MIYABI, They are from Tsugaru Glassware, handmade in Aomori Prefecture, at the northern tip of Honshu. Our first Fuurin is called TAIHEIYO (the Pacific Ocean).
Aomori is surrounded by the sea on three sides, one of which is the Pacific Ocean. When I saw the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, I was surprised by the difference in the color of the sea. The Atlantic Ocean is a slightly grayish green, but the Pacific Ocean is a bright blue. I chose this one for you with my childhood memories of the Pacific Ocean.
The second is called AJISAI (Hydrangea). This Fuurin is handcrafted by Japanese artisans, who use blown glass to create a delicate color palette representing the changing colors of the four seasons. The fresh sound and soft appearance of Fuurin are very soothing. It is made of glass and depicts hydrangeas with their magnificent petals.
The charm of the wind chime lies in the delicate and gentle sound produced by the slightest of breezes. And the swaying of the strips of paper allows you to see the invisible wind.
Feeling the invisible wind through sound. How elegant!
I invite you to take a look at the Fuurin page.
Thank you and Arigato
