The Fuurin is the Japanese wind chime.
It is from Tsugaru Glassware, handcrafted in Aomori Prefecture, at the northern tip of Honshu. Aomori is surrounded by the sea on three sides, one of which is the Pacific Ocean. When I saw the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, I was surprised by the difference in the color of the sea. The Atlantic Ocean is a slightly grayish green, but the Pacific Ocean is a bright blue.
I chose this one for you with my memories of the Pacific Ocean from my childhood.
The charm of the wind chime lies in its delicate and gentle sound, produced by the slightest of breezes. And the swaying of the strips of paper allows you to see the invisible wind.
