The Story Behind the Motif: A Sacred Paradise This exceptional cushion is crafted from a breathtaking golden Obi, featuring the legendary phoenix and lotus flowers. In ancient mythology, the phoenix is the ruler of all winged creatures, said to appear only in times of peace and virtue. Complemented by delicate lotus embroideries, this motif represents the Buddhist vision of paradise. A majestic statement piece, beautifully framed by raspberry-colored piping.
