All materials come from Japan. The kimono and obi are made from Nishijin-ori textiles from Kyoto, and the Washi, the traditional Japanese paper, is mainly Yuzen paper from Kyoto.

Everything is handmade and each piece is unique. Each item is carefully inspected and shipped to Paris.

Kimonos and Obis are upcycled and your package will be packaged in an environmentally friendly way (We try to use as little plastic as possible).

People stop wearing kimonos year after year in Japan and many beautiful kimonos are abandoned. We created our products from already used kimonos and Washi paper to eliminate waste and pass on beautiful Japanese traditions to the next generation.

The tissue box and Kimono Board are handmade in Japan, and the cushion is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Paris to maintain high quality.
