At MAISON MIYABI, we reimagine traditional Japanese masterpieces to blend seamlessly with sophisticated Western interiors. Our cushions are far more than decorative objects; they are authentic works of art, handcrafted in our Parisian atelier.
The Story Behind the Motif: A Chic Omen of Longevity This design features the Temari, a traditional Japanese ball intricately crafted from silken threads. As a motif of good fortune, it carries a deep meaning of longevity and happiness. While I am often drawn to vibrant palettes, the chic allure of this particular Obi—with its exquisite golden spheres shimmering against a jet-black background—was impossible to resist. It is a perfect harmony of playful heritage and minimalist luxury.
